City of Las Vegas WPCF Corrosion Control Project

PEC performed a corrosion rehabilitation project for the City of Las Vegas Water Pollution Control Facility. The project included the following major tasks:
- Records review of as-built facilities
- Field investigation
- Video and physical inspection of pipelines and structures
- NASSCO certified reviews and condition assessments
- Preparation of a condition evaluation and assessment report
- A Pre-Design Report recommending rehabilitation of the various plant facilities including cost estimates
- The preparation of preliminary through final plans and specifications to rehabilitate corroded concrete and metal structures and to provide corrosion protection for the facilities within the plant.
Project included rehabilitation of 2,040 feet of pipe with cured-in-place pipe, rehabilitation of channels, clarifiers, thickeners, chlorine contact basins, pump stations, adding new improvements including new piping, valves and chemical tanks.
